The Leadership Development Carnival

The latest Leadership Development Carnival was posted over the weekend at Dan McCarthy's excellent Great Leadership blog.

This edition of the carnival had a special 'Best of 2009' theme, and included you will find some fantastic pieces from some of the best leadership writers out there, over 50 articles in all.

Some of my favorites from the Carnival are Mark Stelzner, with Common Sense is Not So Common, posted at Inflexion Point, Jennifer Miller who offered Praising Mastery | The People Equation posted at The People Equation, and Jon Ingham with this: Visa Europe: What do you want to be when you grow up.

HR Carnival - Holiday Time

The latest HR Carnival is posted on April Dowling's PseudoHR blog, and once you visit the holiday themed carnival, you will agree that April did a fantastic job assembling the Carnival.

As you have come to expect from the HR Carnival, there is a fantastic assortment of contributions from some of your favorite (and highly influential) bloggers.

You will find some great pieces from Lance Haun , Naomi Bloom, and Lisa Rosendahl (and many, many more).

Even my little 'coal in your stocking' story about a 'Twitter punishment' made the cut.

Thanks very much to April for such a fantastic job, and to the awesome Shauna Moerke for coordinating the Carnivals all year long.

The Carnival gets all Revolutionary

Today at Trish McFarlane's HR Ringleader blog a special edition of the Carnival of HR is up, this one is a collection of all the posts written about the first ever HRevolution 'Unconference' held earlier this month.

Check out the great collection of summaries, reflections, and calls to action from the event, Trish did a great job assembling all the posts.

My post with my observations as well as the guest post that ran here by Wendy Tandon from Salary.com are there, as well as great pieces from Mark Stelzner, Lance Haun, and Trish herself.

All told,  a fantastic event, and a very cool special Carnival to try and bring it all together.

One final note, I have a little piece up over at the Fistful of Talent today, a story of what can happen when a leader takes 'transparency' a little too far.

Carnival Time

The latest and greatest edition of the Carnival of HR is up at Ben Eubank's UpstartHR Blog. 

Ben did a great job compiling 25 pieces of HR awesomeness for your enjoyment.

Read, comment, and most importantly share.  Send the link to just one person you know that does not read HR blogs and try to get them involved.
