Episode 9 - The Happy Recap

    Episode 9 - 'An Open Forum' - September 10, 2009

I had a great time on the show and we had a fantastic mix of callers and topics, here is the run down:

Trish McFarlane gave an update on the planning for #HRevolution coming up on November 6-7 and announced the event registration is open and can be found here - HRevolution Tickets.

Jessica Lee and Lance Haun shared their thoughts on the HR Blogger transparency issues that were buzzing the blogosphere this week. Thanks to Jessica, I read (some of) Glamour magazine for the first time.

Debbie Brown is organizing an outing to the Cubs game on October 2 for folks who will be in Chicago for HR Technology. Contact her on Twitter to get in on the fun.

Chris Havrilla and Paul DeBettignies talked about what they are seeing in their recruiting efforts and expressed some cautious optimism based on some recent trends.

Lois Melbourne from Aquire Software will be at HR Technology and make sure you find her to pick up your very own Aquire beer koozie.

Geoff Webb gave a great overview of RecruitFest coming up on September 23 and 24 in Toronto. I will be there, and there may still be time for you to get in on the fun if you act fast.

Susan Burns shared some great insights (as usual) and gave a preview of her upcoming Talent Camp event in October.

It was a really fun show, give it a listen and let us know in the comments what you thought.  We are especially looking for feedback on the Thursday 8PM EDT start time for the show, and if that works for our audience.
