    WEBINAR: That's Your Pitch? Raise Your Social Recruiting Game

    Since you are a savvy HR or Recruiting pro in 2012 that means one thing -  you are all over the web. 

    SEO optimized careers site? Check

    Engaging content on your 'Careers' tab on Facebook? On it. (don't worry eventually you'll crack 100 'likes')

    Witty yet informative Twitter feed that helps get the word out about your company and openings? That's so 2009, but you are on top of it.

    Job postings being syndicated, (I am not totally sure what that even means, but it sounds complex and important), all over the whole wide world wide web. You bet.

    And, I don't know this for sure but I heard some people at an HR conference talking about this recently, there may be parts of the web that feature, shall we say, adult content.

    WEBINAR : Talent, Succession, and Zombie Identification

    A quick plug for my colleagues over at Fistful of Talent who next week, Wednesday June 20 at 1:00PM EDT, will be running the latest installment of their fun, informative, and popular webinar series, this time with what promises to be a fresh, innovative, and probably not at all like you are used to approach to succession planning and talent reviews.     Counting them down: The #FOT25 Talent Management Blogs

    Over at Fistful of Talent, the latest installment of the Top 25 Talent Management Blog Power Rankings was released. Well, not totally released... 

    Yesterday FOT published the names of blogs ranked 25 through 6, leaving the Top 5 Talent Management blogs to be revealed live on the HR Happy Hour Show tonight at 8PM ET.

    Yes, we will count them down from 5 all that way up to Number 1 tonight, we will be joined by several of the Top 5 bloggers, some of the crew from FOT, and hopefully some HR pros and blog readers to talk about their favorites. We will also dish on the state of the HR blogosphere in general, as it indeed has changed quite a bit in the last few years.

    It should be a fun show in the best Casey Kasem tradition.  Just don't ask me to read any long distance dedications...
